404 Livehouse, also known as 404 Error, 404 Error Live House, 404ERROR, or simply 404, is a venue owned by Cecilia and run by Ari in Sixth Street. After being closed for a few years, it has re-opened under a new owner.[1]
During a performance, players can find various Agents that have shown up to watch the show, or in the case of Seth, "patrol the area." Players can also interact with the Immersive Viewing camera to watch the performance in a cutscene-like fashion with increased audio quality. Once time has been advanced to 12AM (Late Night), players can then Join the Line to take selfies with the performers.
Cecilia: You're here. Are you interested in Satellite too?
They're a pretty rare kind of group, after all.
It's hard not to be curious.
Cecilia: Yeah. Very few live houses support Bangboo groups, and Satellite only started its residency here not long ago.
Cecilia: I once stumbled on one of their street shows — music bursting with color, dance like streams of light — yet they still couldn't get the rushing crowd to stay.
Cecilia: A real shame, isn't it? As it happened, 404 had just reopened for business, and we still had slots for bands and idol groups, so I extended them an invitation on the spot.
Cecilia: To this day, Satellite is still a niche group... They may not have a massive fanbase, but they've definitely left a mark on a certain crowd.
Cecilia & Lo
(Idle - 6PM)
Lo: Ms. Cecilia is my absolute favorite!
(Talk to Lo)
Lo: I want to be as mature and charming as you, Miss Cecilia!
Cecilia: I'm probably much more fragile and immature than you think. You can set your sights much higher than just becoming like me.
Lo: No way! Even Angels of Delusion rely on you so much, Miss Cecilia, don't they?
Cecilia: They've always relied on their own effort, not on me.
Lo: But without you, Miss Cecilia, they wouldn't have been able to keep going, would they?
Cecilia: ...I don't know, but I trust them.
Cecilia: Lo, maybe you're more cut out for the spotlight than you think.
Cecilia: Who knows? Maybe one day I'll be the one counting on you, Lo.
Lo: Huh? M—Me?!
Cecilia & Hayden
(Idle - 12PM)
Cecilia: How've you been feeling lately...
(Talk to Cecilia)
Cecilia: How's it feel working as a tuner here, Hayden? Settling in okay?
Hayden: Yeah... I've settled in pretty well. To be honest, it's much better than I expected.
Hayden: I used to really dislike the atmosphere around girl bands... If you hadn't invited me, I never would've come work at a place that's full of them.
Hayden: But now, I really understand why girl bands are so popular...
Cecilia: ...?
Hayden: Especially Angels of Delusion! They're the most vibrant group, and the dynamics between the members are full of drama... Oh, and they're your students, right?
Hayden: You're quite the teacher. I've already become a die‑hard fan of Angels of Delusion!
Cecilia: I never thought this would be your kind of music...
Hayden: Yeah, how did I never realize it before?
Cecilia & The Forecasters
(Idle - 12PM)
Maki: I really wish you could be here...
(Talk to Maki)
Maki: Miss Cecilia, if you have some free time soon, would you come watch The Forecasters perform? It wouldn't take long, and even coming just once would mean a lot to us.
Moe: I—If you come, I'll definitely give it everything and write a new song... s—so please, do come!
Nana: If you don't come, Miss Cecilia, Moe might actually burst into tears~
Cecilia: Why would you assume I've never seen you perform? As the owner of 404, I keep tabs on every group that takes the stage, and I've stopped to watch you, The Forecasters, more than a few times.
Cecilia: Trust in your own light. It shines no less brightly than the stars in the polar night.
Cecilia: Besides... I wonder if you remember, Miss Maki, back when you were still part of that wildly popular idol group Venus, we actually crossed paths once.
Nana: ...
Maki: Of course I remember! I just didn't expect you'd also... Sorry, that was rude of me...
Cecilia: It's fine. I stepped away from the spotlight a long time ago. And Venus... I'd already heard about your breakup. I never thought we'd meet again here at 404, let alone that, when we did, we'd both be living new lives.
Cecilia: And unlike me, you're still up on stage, leading The Forecasters. It takes real courage to start over. Give yourself more credit for that.
Maki: So you've been following us all this time... thank you! Next time you come to see us, Miss Cecilia, please tell us beforehand, and if you could share your thoughts and suggestions after the show, that would be amazing!
Maki: This time I'm making my dream happen no matter what, even if it's only for...
The Forecasters
Mr. Ooda
(Idle - 6PM)
Mr. Ooda: Hope you keep stacking up more supporters.
(Talk to Mr. Ooda)
Ooda: Hey there! I remember you — you're the manager from the video store next door, right? So now that you're in the audience, tell me... did the performance on stage move you at all?
Ooda: Their group [sic] called The Forecasters. They've been performing here for some time and have already drawn quite a bit of attention, but it's still a long way from the dream they're aiming for. To reach that dream, they'll need not only their own hard work, but also the support of their fans.
Ooda: If you'd like to get to know them better, swing by the photo session at midnight. It's a rare chance to chat with them offstage, so don't miss out!
Mr. Ooda & Nana
(Idle - 12PM)
Nana: This is about all I can do...
(Talk to Mr. Ooda)
Ooda: Nana, if you keep pushing yourself like this, your body won't be able to take it. Take a break for a bit.
Ooda: Whether I'm speaking as your manager or as your friend, I'm genuinely worried about you and I really hope you'll start taking yourself seriously. Please don't just brush me off like you did before, alright?
Nana: Okay, okay. You're being so serious all of a sudden, Mr. Ooda, you're kinda freaking me out here~
Ooda: Because this is really important... To be honest, out of everyone in The Forecasters, the one I worry about the most is you, Nana.
Ooda: You've always seemed like you're being chased by something, Nana, and you're almost brutally strict with yourself when you practice... I know you want to improve, but what are you really pushing yourself for?
Nana: Mr. Ooda, nothing's chasing me. I'm the one doing the chasing. I don't have the dazzling talent that Maki and Moe have, so the only thing I can really rely on is hard work, isn't it?
Nana: Because this is all I can do.
Nana: Because I don't wanna be left behind ever again.
Nana: Oh, this is getting so heavy... Sorry, I didn't mean to say something weird like that. Don't worry about it, Mr. Ooda, I'll be good and go take a break right away.
Nana: But I do have a favor to ask, Mr. Ooda... You're not going to tell Maki and Moe what I just said, are you?
Ooda: There's no need to keep it from them... I mean, I won't! Of course I won't! Just don't give me that scary look!
Mr. Ooda & Moe
(Idle - 12PM)
Moe: Am I really cut out to be an idol?
(Talk to Moe)
Moe: I—I'll just slow everyone down if I stay here...
Ooda: Why do you think that, Moe? I've always felt you're an exceptionally talented and hardworking girl.
Moe: You're very kind, Mr. Ooda, trying to make me feel better... but I've messed up so many things...
Moe: I sometimes mess up on stage, and I can't even talk to fans at photo sessions... I'm such a terrible idol. Maybe I should just go back home and run a noodle shop instead...
Ooda: No way! The fans like you just the way you are, Moe! "Seeing Moe all shy and flustered gives me the strength to power through another day at work!" That's what everyone's saying!
Ooda: Remember? Maki stands for sunny days, you stand for rainy days, and Nana stands for starry skies. Without you in the group, it'd be like a weather forecast that never mentions rain — totally incomplete and meaningless!
Ooda: Nana once said that. See? Everyone trusts you, Moe, so quit doubting yourself, okay?
Moe: *sniff*... Everyone... I know there's still a ton of stuff I'm not doing well yet, but I'll keep pushing forward and won't let any of you down!
Moe: I'll work even harder for our next show! Mr. Ooda, please push me in practicing!
Ooda: *sniff*... Moe... you're such a good kid... I'm so lucky to be your manager... wah...
Moe: I—I've always been really grateful to you too, Mr. Ooda... wah...
The grown-up and the girl thank each other, tears flowing uncontrollably — four small rivers streaming down their faces. Though storms rage across their cheeks, the skies in their hearts are crystal clear.
Moe
(Idle - 12PM)
Moe: How do we fix things...[verification needed]
(Talk to Moe)
Moe: Ah! H—Hey there, Manager of the video store! What do you need from me?
Looks like you could use some help.
Moe: I was just wondering how I could get Maki and Nana to patch things up?
Moe: Training schedules, setlists, noodle flavors, even the scent of shampoo... they'd constantly bicker over the smallest things.
Moe: I had no clue what to do about it, and I don't get why, but every single fight somehow ends with the two of them taking me out for noodles.
Because they trust you.
Because they care about you.
Moe: But I didn't even do anything? Even though they argue a lot, their relationship hasn't suffered at all.
Moe: Sometimes I wonder, is this their way of showing they care about each other?
Moe: I don't really get it, but they obviously care about each other, right? Yet every time they go through this huge runaround to say it, like they're scared the other one will notice how much they actually care...
Moe: If they could just be straight with each other, I'm sure they'd get along even better than they do now!
(After Satellite's performance - 12AM)
(Idle)
Moe: Incredible...
(Talk to Moe)
Moe: Ah...! H—Hi there...
Sorry for disturbing you.
Are you watching the show?
Moe: Yeah, I've been following Satellite's shows! Pretty much caught every single one!
An idol who has an idol?
Moe: Is that... weird? But... Nana and Maki have their own favorite groups too... and Satellite has tons of human fans!
Moe: Look, the second Leto steps on stage, all eyes are on her, and she sets the whole place on fire; Milya and Amine work together flawlessly, every beat flows into the next perfectly...
Moe: I... I want to become an idol like them too! I want to share passion and joy with everyone, just like they do...
Maki & Nana
(Idle - 12PM)
Maki: Finally, rehearsal's over...
(Talk to Maki)
Maki: Nana, I've been wondering... why did you agree to team up with me again? I was the one who walked away first...
Nana: I told you, I don't know either. I saw that long message you sent, my brain just went into overdrive, and before I could even think, I'd already replied with "okay"... The second I hit send, even I was like, wait... what?
Nana: Look, once it's sent, it's sent. I can't exactly take it back, right? What if you'd already seen it... and you definitely saw it, so backing out would've been way too awkward, so I just went with it. Anyway, it all happened in complete chaos.
Maki: So that's how it was... I spent forever drafting that message — typing, deleting, then typing it all over again — but even when I finally hit send, I never actually expected you to say yes.
Maki: No matter how it happened, thank you, Nana.
Maki: Thank you for taking me in when I had nowhere else to go, and for trusting me even after I walked away from you and everyone else.
Nana:(*muttering*) Hmph... just don't go running off on your own again.
Maki: Huh? Nana, did you say something just now?
Nana: Whatever, forget it if you didn't hear... And hey, who said I trust you? I hold grudges, you know. What you did to me? I'll never forget that for as long as I live.
Nana: Now that I think about it, sending such a formal invitation to an old friend you parted ways with and doing it through Knock Knock? Oh my, someone's acting like a middle schooler too shy to confess face-to-face~
Maki: I—I had no idea where to even find you. We hadn't talked in forever...
Maki: You've got nerve laughing at me! I remember it perfectly — you replied instantly, didn't you?
(Idle - 12PM)
Maki: You need to rest...
Nana: My health is none of your business...
(Talk to Maki)
Maki: Nana, we don't have that many shows coming up, so you don't need to push yourself this hard in practice. Moe and I are both really worried about you...
Nana: Since you know we're getting fewer shows, how can you act like that's nothing? Doesn't that mean our popularity is starting to drop?
Nana: If the leader's slacking like this, guess it's up to me to step up, right? If we just let things go like this, who can guarantee The Forecasters won't break up again like last time?
Nana: But if we really did disband, it might actually be a good thing for you, Maki. I mean, after you got scooped up by that major agency, you crushed it at Venus...
Maki: No, Nana... I never saw it that way. But if it's been eating at you this whole time, why didn't you just tell me?
Maki: Look, I'm not gonna beg for your forgiveness at this point, but I can promise you this — I'm not walking away again. Not this time!
Nana: Hmph. That's exactly what you said back then, too...
Maki: Huh? Did I? I don't really remember. Hey, don't get mad! Sure, it was just a verbal promise, but I'm gonna prove it with my actions from now on!
Maki: You must be tired, Nana. Why don't you rest for a bit first? I'll practice with you later, sounds good?
Nana: Idiot, you're the one who should be resting. You're already so good you barely need to practice. I'm the one who needs the practice... And you've been secretly putting together a show lately, haven't you?
Maki: Nothing gets past you, huh... But as team leader, it's my duty to look after everyone's condition. If you're set on practicing, I'll be right there with you.
Nana: You win... Let's just head back for today.
Maki: Yeah~ Let's grab Moe and go get some noodles!
Maki & Moe
(Idle - 12PM)
Maki: Just follow your heart...
(Talk to Moe)
Moe: Yesterday, someone from another agency came to talk to me...
Maki: I didn't think this day would come so fast. Moe, you really are something! It's okay, just follow your heart. Even if you join another agency, we'll always be best friends.
Moe: No, no, I just wanted to...
Maki: It might actually be a better choice for you, Moe. Back then, even though my group Venus ended up disbanding, I never regretted joining them.
Maki: With the level Nana and I were at back then, even if we kept pushing, we wouldn't have stood a chance.
Moe: What does "a better choice" even mean, anyway...
Maki: Moe, we'll be fine. This time, together with Nana, I'm gonna make our dream come true with The Forecasters, no matter what.
Maki: Look, I know how things seem right now, but I've worked at a big agency before. I'm confident we can all make a fresh start, and you...
Moe: I... I actually don't want to leave The Forecasters at all. I just didn't know how to turn them down, so Maki, please stop trying to convince me, okay?! Phew... finally got that off my chest...
Moe: B-because it felt like you'd already decided I was going to leave, I got a little upset... I kind of lost my cool. Sorry...
Moe: I want to stay with The Forecasters forever, by everyone's side... Did I get those feelings across to you, Maki?
Maki: I get it now... I'm the one who should be apologizing. I didn't pick up on how you were feeling, Moe, and I just assumed you saw things the same way I do. That's on me.
Maki: Of course, you're way cuter than I was back then, Moe! Leave the rest to your captain — I'll turn down all those invites for you! No way I'm handing you over to them!
The Deepsea Aliens
(Idle - 12PM)
Renee: The setlist for the show...
(Talk to Renee)
Renee: This is the setlist the manager just sent us. For tonight's show, we can only pick songs from this list.
Peggy: The new songs we recorded recently aren't on it...
Lucas: Exactly! A bunch of the new songs are our own originals. It'd be a real shame if we can't play them!
Renee: Hmm... I guess it's because the new songs aren't out yet. We'll probably have to wait for an official show to play them live.
Lucas: Tch~ Odeum HAE is such a hassle to deal with...
Mischa: Yeah! My parents are coming to the show tonight, so I wanna play some retro classics for them...
Renee: No problem. There are plenty of those on the list!
Peggy: Also... I hurt my fingers recently. For tonight's set, can we choose songs with simpler bass parts?
Renee: That might be tricky... None of the bass parts in these songs are easy. How about we simplify your lines a bit?
Lucas: I remember that one time the bass wasn't even plugged into the amp and nobody noticed for the entire show! We're only simplifying your lines — no one's going to hear the difference.
Lucas: Just kidding! Anywhere the rhythm feels thin, my drums will back you up!
Renee: Yeah, that's more like it. Teamwork makes the dream work!
(Idle - 6PM)
Lucas: These bands here aren't messing around...
Renee: I'm picking up quite a few things they never teach in music theory class!
The Darkforge
(Idle - 12PM)
Leo: I've been meaning to ask this forever...
(Talk to Leo)
Leo: Actually, I've made a pretty wild discovery lately...
Axel: Ah, here we go again... some random overthinking right before a live show.
Leo: Do you think our band might actually be kind of obscure?
Sun: ...You're only noticing that now?
Leo: Our band has always gotten solid reviews, and after shows we'd have tons of fans lining up for autographs — so I honestly thought we were killing it, popularity-wise.
Axel: Ah, here we go again... the classic clueless pretty boy.
Sun: Our music is never meant for mainstream tastes anyway. I'm happy with the crowd we have. Our fans are hardcore and on the same wavelength as us.
Leo: Really? I still think the more fans we've got, the better... I mean, if the band wants to make bank, going big is the only way.
Sun: I put up the money for this band so we could make our music, not to worry about making a profit.
Axel: Ah, here we go again... the laid‑back rich guy routine.
Sun: So Leo, you're supposed to be a cool, rebellious heavy metal frontman. I don't need you grinning at everyone like some star salesman, and I don't need fans who can't appreciate our music.
Leo: Alright, alright! I'll play the part of the proper frontman on stage. But once I'm offstage... staying upbeat and smiling around people is just how I am. Sorry, that's not changing!
Axel: With how much you two bicker, it's a miracle we haven't split up by now...
Leo: Ha! If we can't handle this much friction, we've got no right to call ourselves rock!
(During a performance - 6PM)
(Idle)
Leo: The low-end separation on these speakers is kinda weak...
Axel: Shared equipment — don't expect miracles!
Sun: Want me to get a high-end set and install it here?
(After a performance - 12AM)
(Idle)
Fan: I—I—I want a photo! And an autograph!
Leo: Haha! Relax, relax — you're all getting one!
Axel: I wish I had that kind of endless energy...
Satellite
(Idle - 12PM)
Leto: Ehn-ne! (These fans are seriously impressive!)
(Talk to Leto)
Leto: En-ne-neh... (Our fans might be even more hardcore than we thought...)
Operationsboo: En? En-neh? (Isn't rehearsal about to start? Why are you suddenly talking about fans?)
Milya: En-ne... En-ne-neh! (Ah... you mean that thing. Yeah, our fans are seriously amazing!)
Amine: Ehn-ne-neh! (I feel the same!)
Operationsboo: En, ni? (So what are you two talking about, exactly?)
Leto: En-neh-en-nuh? (Mr. Producer, our fans aren't all Bangboo, right?)
Operationsboo: En-en-neh! (Yeah, we've got quite a few human fans!)
Milya: Nhe-na-ne... (But Leto, Amine, and I all look pretty much the same...)
Amina: Nhu-uhn-en-ne? (How do human fans tell the three of us apart at a glance?)
Operationsboo: Ehn... (Ahh...)
Operationsboo: Uhn-na... (The dedication of fans is truly something else...)
(Idle)
Operationsboo: Ehn-nhe... (I really can't keep going...)
(Talk to Operationsboo)
Operationsboo: Nhe-nu-na-en... (Leto, Milya, and Amine... I'm really sorry... I might not be able to be with you for the upcoming show.)
Leto: Nhu? Na-ni? (What? Mr. Producer, are you quitting?)
Milya: Ehn-na! Ehn-nha! (You're the best producer in New Eridu! You can't leave!)
Amine: Uhe-na-na, ni-ni... (I'm so sad, but why...)
Operationsboo: Nha-ne?! (Wait wait wait, I never said I was quitting?!)
Leto: En-ni? (Huh?)
Operationsboo: Uhn-en-na, nu-ne-nha... (Since my last charge, I've been working for over a hundred hours straight... and after tonight's show, there's still something I need to take care of.)
Operationsboo: Na-nhe-na, nu-na-ehn-ni. (I gotta use the time while you guys are performing tonight to charge up quick... so I won't be able to join you for tonight's show.)
Operationsboo: Nhu-ehn-ne, en-na-uhn, ni-ne... (Remember to stay in touch with the 404 crew, and switch off your mics when you step off stage...)
Leto: Ni! Nhe! (You're such a big dummy, Mr. Producer!)
Operationsboo: Ne? Nu-nha...? (Uh... huh? What's even going on right now...?)
(During a performance - 6PM)
(Idle)
Leto: Ehn-ne... (Receiver's fine...)
Milya: Ehn-ne! (I've memorized all the lyrics and the choreography!)
Amine: Ehn-neh-nuh! (The shining Bangboo idol makes her entrance!)
Viola & Lotus, and Lavender
(Idle - 12PM)
Viola: Tonight's stage outfit is...
(Talk to Viola)
Viola: What should we wear for tonight's show?
Lavender: Let me think... I think the stage outfit we wore last time was actually pretty good.
Viola: Ugh... I really don't want to wear that silly stage outfit again!
Viola: We're a rock band, aren't we... Shouldn't we be in ripped T‑shirts covered in studs and spikes, and jeans loaded with metal accessories?
Lotus: You also want random, intense-looking nonsense text printed on your clothes, don't you?
Viola: ...How'd you know? I actually think that would look pretty cool...
Lavender: That's it, we're going with the cute-style outfits! This time, we're going to be even cuter than Angels of Delusion!
Lotus: You really are a big fan of Angels of Delusion, huh?
Viola: I'm not confident about my looks... I'll pass...
Lavender: Don't talk yourself down in front of the competition! Have some confidence, Viola, you're adorable too!
Viola: W—wait, since when did we ever consider Angels of Delusion our rivals?
Lotus: I think Lavender's the only one who sees them as rivals. For me, that kind of pointless rivalry doesn't matter. What's important is putting on a perfect performance as a band.
Viola: "Perfect"? I wish I could be as confident as you two...
Mao & Yanase, Kotone, and Drummerboo
(Idle - 12PM)
Mao: So many friends coming today!
(Talk to Mao)
Mao: Hehe, the second I mentioned tonight's show, my friends were scrambling for tickets! I bet I'll spot tons of familiar faces in the crowd...
Mao: ...I'm kinda nervous, but it's making me really excited too!
Yanase: In that case, make sure to check those guitar strings thoroughly this time — you don't want them snapping mid-song like last time.
Mao: Yeah! I just put on a fresh set of strings for this show, so there's no way anything's gonna go wrong!
Kotone: *sigh* Changing strings right before a show is a major no-no in the rock world. Not only does it mess with your feel, but new strings haven't settled in yet — they'll throw your tuning all over the place...
Kotone: Those strings have met your fingertips countless times, and you just toss them aside like that. Then you go onstage and play a set on some stranger of a string — don't you feel even a tiny bit guilty for being so faithless to your old ones... Ow, hey, that hurts!
Yanase: There you go bragging again... Next time you start talking nonsense, it'll be more than just a little knock on the head!
Drummerboo: En-ne, en-ne-neh! (Mao, don't let it get to you... Kotone didn't mean anything bad by it.)
Mao: Haha, I'm fine, really. I read online you shouldn't change strings right before a show, so I swapped 'em out two days early this time.
Mao: Kotone's advice on music is always spot on!
Kotone: Oh, not at all. I just started in this business a little earlier than you did. It's really nothing...
Yanase: Here we go again... Kotone, that goes for you too! No showboating during this performance! No spinning your bass strap, and no playing bass with your teeth!
Kotone: Then how about I play it behind my back this time?
Yanase: No! Way! Mao's got a ton of friends coming over tonight, so we gotta bring our A-game!
Kotone: Fine... guess it's time to get serious for once!
Drummerboo: En-en-en-neh! (Let's put on an amazing show together!)
Operationsboo: En-neh! (Please keep cheering for us!)
Leto: Enn-neh-nhe! (Thank you all for coming!)
Milya: Ehn-ne... (Milya really hopes she gets to see you again...)
Amine: En-nuh-neh... (Hope you're all enjoying yourselves...)
(Talk to Operationsboo)
Operationsboo: Uhn-na-ne? (Need a pic together?)
I'm just a little curious.
Operationsboo: Nha-ne-ne, nu-nha-nu. (To thank fans for their support, we, Satellite, will do everything we can to meet everyone's expectations.)
Operationsboo: Nah, na-nu-neh, ehn-nha. (Taking photos with fans is a key part of idol group management. It's great for making memories, building connections, and deepening bonds.)
Operationsboo: Nu-nu-ehn? (So, you need a photo or what?)
Operationsboo: Ehn-ne-ne, ehn-ne, en-na-nhn? (Oh, and by the way, if you know any super cute Bangboo, feel free to contact our agency — we're always looking for Bangboo who are ideal candidates for becoming idols!)
Agent Interactions
Cecilia & Angels of Delusion
(Idle - 12PM)
Cecilia: This melody here... yeah, it's fine!
(Talk to Cecilia)
Sunna: Ms. Cecilia, could you please take a look at the score for our new song?
Cecilia: Okay, let me see... Clever blend of modal shifts and variations, really brings out the song's sense of development... and that backbeat syncopation going into the chorus is a very daring experiment...
Cecilia: You've even sketched out some initial arrangement ideas here, which shows you were thinking about the arrangement while composing — definitely a step forward. Your style is very distinctive, and there's no way this song will be boring.
Cecilia: Well... overall, this new song is very good. I like it.
Aria: Yay! I'm already looking forward to recording the new song!
Nangong Yu: What a relief... No more listening to Sunna's latest demo uploads late at night every single day!
Nangong Yu: Every time there are only one or two tiny changes from the last version, I honestly thought you were sending them just so we could play "spot the difference"!
Sunna: I was just logging my daily tweaks, never thought you'd actually tune in every day. Nangong... I'm legit touched...
Aria: Aw, look at that... Sunna and Nangong have always been close, huh?
Nangong Yu: You... shut up! Don't say another word...
Cecilia: Heh, guess that's just part of the whole young lady group package...
(Idle)
Sunna: Why does my voice keep cracking when I sing...
(Talk to Sunna)
Sunna: It's so strange... I can usually nail that high note just fine. Why do I keep cracking on it today?
Aria: Your throat okay? Did you catch a cold or something? Need some water?
Nangong Yu: Your voice sounds just fine... so where exactly is the problem?
Cecilia: Hmm... I don't think that's it...
Cecilia leans down and gives Sunna's belly a gentle rub.
Cecilia: ...Sunna, did you seriously overdo it at lunch again?
Sunna: ...Huh?!
Nangong Yu: Lemme feel too... Oh! That's fried chicken here, ice cream over here, and some cupcakes... Yup, definitely ate a lot.
Sunna: How'd you even figure that out...?
Nangong Yu: Case closed. Turns out Sunna ate way too much, so there's no room in her belly for the breath she needs to sing~
Sunna: ...Wah, meow!
Nangong Yu: What's with all the waterworks... Alright, alright, you big dummy Sunna, lemme think of something.
Aria: Let me think of something too! Hmm... When humans eat too much, does rubbing their belly help them digest faster?
Nangong Yu: ...Got it!
Nangong Yu: Just pass the mic to the audience when you hit that high note, right?
Aria: Yeah, that way you can avoid the risk of missing that high note!
Cecilia: Look... being able to handle unexpected situations on stage is a solid skill, but we should really focus on preventing those mishaps in the first place.
Cecilia: I'll let it slide this time, but don't expect this to become a habit, got it?
Aria & Jane
(Idle - 6PM)
Jane: Let me share a little trick with you~
(Talk to Jane)
Jane: Looks like you've been doing pretty well lately, huh?
Aria: Yes, it's all thanks to you, Miss Jane!
Jane: No need to be nervous, little Aria. At 404, you're the idol and I'm just a fan — I should be the nervous one.
Aria: Oh, o—okay!
Jane: Since I'm your fan, I'd like to offer Angels of Delusion a teeny-tiny little suggestion... Would that be okay?
Aria: Of course, please, go ahead!
Jane: First off, little Aria, do you know what fans nowadays like the most?
Aria: Let me think... a beautiful, captivating voice, youthful and energetic dance moves, and that radiant, high-voltage smile at meet-and-greets!
Jane: Sure, professional skills are important and all. But what I want to talk about is everything that happens offstage.
Jane: Fans care not only about Angels of Delusion's singing and dancing, but also about the relationships and stories between the members...
Aria: Well... so what should we do, Ms. Jane?!
Jane: For example, you could cuddle up to other members on stage. If fans see that, they'll definitely start letting their imaginations run wild about the relationships within Angels of Delusion...
Aria: But the three of us hug each other all the time to show support. It's not something fans should be reading into, you know?
Jane: Then I must say, your relationships are almost suspiciously sunny and wholesome... Just pretend you didn't hear what I just said.
Astra & Evelyn
(Idle - 6PM)
Evelyn: She's probably hanging around here somewhere...
(Talk to Evelyn)
Evelyn: Why is it yet another place packed with people and prying eyes...
Evelyn: Catching a target in a place like this is anything but easy.
Are you busting perps, Evelyn?
Evelyn: Manager? Perfect timing. Looks like our culprit is about to walk right into our hands.
The moment those words leave her lips, a flash of striking red comes into view...
Astra Yao: (Wise! Heya!Wise! Heya!Text for Wise / Belle! Heyo!Belle! Heyo!Text for Belle) You came to see the show too!
Astra Yao: Uh, hi Eve! Ahaha... you've caught me again. You're so good at this!
Evelyn: Miss, it's just that your favorite haunts are far too easy to predict... Anyway, back to business: there's a meeting tonight you're required to attend.
Evelyn: I'm here to inform you that...
Astra Yao: Okay, I know... just let me watch a bit longer, okay? Just a little more!
Evelyn: ...That they've just postponed the meeting to tomorrow for personal reasons... so you're free tonight. Feel free to enjoy the show.
Astra Yao: Really? That's awesome! This doesn't happen often — Eve, come watch the show with me!
Yay! Let's enjoy the show together!
Ellen & Lynn, Monna, and Ruby
(Idle - 12PM)
Ellen: What's the show tonight...
(Talk to Ellen)
Ellen: What's the show for tonight again? I can't remember.
Monna: Huh? Weren't you the one, Ellen, who insisted we had to come today?
Lynn: Yeah, exactly!
Ellen: Only because today's the one day I don't have to work...
Ruby: I remember it was in this very shop that some fans mistook the four of us for a brand‑new idol group!
Ellen: Ah... now I remember. It was such a hassle back then...
Monna: That's the face, Nom Nom Shark! That's exactly how you scared the fans off last time!
Lynn: But that just made the fans go even more wild...
Ruby: Yeah, some fans actually enjoy it when their idols act all cold toward them.
Harumasa & Seth
(Idle - 6PM)
Harumasa: Wouldn't have guessed...
(Talk to Harumasa)
Harumasa: Well, this is a surprise, Seth... I never would've guessed you spend your off-hours watching idol shows...
Seth: I'm not here to watch a show! Crowded places need extra security, so I'm here on patrol.
Seth: Wait... what are you doing here anyway?
Harumasa: Well, I spotted you at the entrance and got curious about what kind of idols a usually serious junior like you is into... so I followed you in.
Seth: Sorry to disappoint, but I'm just here on patrol.
Harumasa: It's totally normal to be into idols, nothing embarrassing about it. Don't worry, I won't rat you out to your brother.
Seth: ...So I'm telling you! I really am just here on patrol!
Vivian & Lilac
(Idle - 6PM)
Vivian: Can you really tell...
(Talk to Vivian)
Vivian: Even if you say you're here to gather inspiration... can you really pick up all that just by watching the show?
Lilac: Humhum... The real inside story is always revealed in the details.
Are you here to watch the show too?
Vivian: Oh! Lord Phaethon, you're here too! Lilac said she's working on a new doujin masterpiece, so she dragged me here to gather inspiration.
A doujin masterpiece?
Lilac: Beneath the band girls' dazzling, glamorous exterior lies a tangled web of secret relationships...
Lilac: Even if they can't stand each other, they still have to act like the best of teammates under the spotlight! Delicious drama! Absolutely delicious!
Lilac: This time I'll definitely be able to find inspiration for my new work from the tiny clues in their stage performance!
Vivian: That's how it is, Lord Phaethon. Lilac is completely absorbed in her creative work right now...
Lilac: Looks like you're a regular here, Manager... Care to share some exclusive insider gossip about the bands that play here?
The keyboardist is determined to leave and start a new band.
The lead singer dropped out of school because of the guitarist.
The drummer publicly exposed their secrets right in the middle of a show.
Vivian: Fiction always springs from real life... the situations you've described, Lord Phaethon, will absolutely make the story more thrilling!
Lilac: That makes perfect sense. Only plot twists that break out of conventional thinking can really hook readers! I'm using that!
Ye Shunguang
(Idle - 6PM)
Ye Shunguang: First time I've ever been to a place like this...
(Talk to Ye Shunguang)
Ye Shunguang: So there are places this lively even at night...
What are you doing here, Xiao'Guang?
Ye Shunguang: Huh? Junior... oh right, Sixth Street is your turf!
Ye Shunguang: Actually, I ran into this girl handing out flyers at Lumina Square. I got curious about what was on the flyer, so I asked her a bit about it...
Ye Shunguang: Her eyes lit up instantly, and she grabbed my hand, going on and on about this place. Seeing how pumped she was, I couldn't bring myself to cut her off, so I just followed her and took the subway all the way here.
That sounds kind of like you were abducted...
Good thing it was only to see a show...
Ye Shunguang: It really did feel a bit like that... But that just shows how welcoming everyone at 404 really is! When I first walked in, I'd barely started looking around when a staff member came over right away to show me how to buy a ticket...
Ye Shunguang: I've got my ticket and I'm in, but since it's my first time here, I honestly have no idea what I'm supposed to do during the show... Am I supposed to be jumping around like those fans, or what?
Do whatever you like...
Just enjoy the music!
Ye Shunguang: Oh, I see... This really is such a relaxing place!
Yidhari & The Deepsea Aliens
(Idle - 12PM)
Renee: Miss, would you be interested in appearing in our next music video?
Yidhari: Uh, have we met? Sorry, I have the world's worst memory for faces...
(Talk to Renee)
Renee: Um, this might sound a bit sudden, but just by looking at our appearance, you can probably tell our band's theme is related to deep sea, right? We recently got a chance to shoot a music video, and we're looking for a female lead — preferably a grown-up like you who could fit in with us perfectly!
Yidhari: You really do look alike. I honestly can't tell you apart. But as for me "fitting in with you perfectly"? Just based on age alone, I don't think I could pull that off.
Yidhari: Or maybe I've gotten so scatterbrained that I can't even tell your faces apart anymore, or figure out how old you are...
Renee: Not at all! What we need is a gentle, beautiful big sister to guide us and show us around the city in the MV... which is why you're just right for the role~
Renee Anyway, we've still got lots of time to prepare, so after you've thought it over, just come find us here next time. We're easy to spot — we all have matching hairstyles!
Yidhari: Next time... sure! I'll try my best to remember you all... uh, right...
Yidhari:(*muttering*) Um... What do your hairstyles look like again...?
Angels of Delusion
(Idle - 12PM)
Aria: Come check out the new flyers!
(Talk to Aria)
Aria: Everyone! Come check out our freshly printed flyers!
Sunna: Whoa... layouts designed by actual professionals really do hit different, huh?
Nangong Yu: Angels of Delusion... at 404 LIVEHOUSE... Wait, where's the showtime?
Aria: No showtime? Oh no, we really didn't include one! What do we do now? We start handing out flyers tomorrow — there's no time to reprint!
Sunna: Ugh... we got no choice. Let's just write it by hand!
Nangong Yu: Huh? That's such a dumb idea...
Aria: Yeah! Let's go with that. I'll help!
Nangong Yu: Hey, I... urgh, forget it, just gimme a pen too!

Trivia
Despite being the location of one of Ellen Joe's and Zhu Yuan's Trust Invites since 1.0,[2][3] it was retconned in 2.5 that the venue had been closed down for years.[1]
