- Reach Inter-Knot Lv. 55.
Gameplay Details
- Threshold Simulation consists of Story Nodes and Combat Nodes. Progress through different Nodes in sequence until reaching the final Combat Node.
- Combat Nodes contain three type of challenges: Final, Required, and Optional.
- An Agent cannot be deployed mutliple times within the same Node.
- Clearing Required and Optional stage gives extra score multipliers for Final stages.
- In Easy Mode, Combat Nodes will have trial Agents to choose from.
- In Hard Mode, Proxies can choose different branches at Story Nodes to unlock different endings.
- Achieving S-Rank in all Combat Nodes unlocks the ranking display.

[Gameplay Guide]
- Complete the "Threshold Simulation" introduction mission to unlock Easy Mode. Hard Mode will be unlocked after completing Easy Mode. Easy Mode is permanently available, while Hard Mode is only accessible for set periods.
- Proxies can use their enhanced Agents and Bangboo to repeatedly challenge the simulated Hollow Exploration in "Threshold Simulation", make different choices at various nodes, and clear Ethereals along the way to reach the final ending.
- "Threshold Simulation" consists of Combat Nodes [BATTLE] and Story Nodes [STORY]. The overall progression rule is: Starting from the event node, progress step by step through different combat and event nodes until you reach the final combat node. All nodes are unlocked once only — after unlocking a node, it remains available even if its preceding node is reset.
- In Hard Mode there are multiple endings. Proxies can choose different branches in story nodes to unlock different endings. Proxies can also review previously completed story nodes at any time and make different choices, which will cause the corresponding changes to subsequent nodes.
[Best Total Score and Ranking]
- The Best Total Score and rankings are only displayed in Hard Mode.
- The Best Total Score is the highest combined battle score from the [Final] stages of all 4 BATTLE nodes in a single challenge. Multiple endings in the LAST NODE will not be counted more than once. Resetting the challenge lineup will not reset the Best Total Score and ranking display.
- When S-rank is achieved in all [Final] stages across the 4 BATTLE nodes, the ranking display for the current Best Total Score will be unlocked.
Story Node
- Different choices made during story nodes can affect the story's direction, determining the final ending and the final enemy you'll face.
- Some choices will only unlock when specific conditions are met.
- During the simulation, you can review any previously encountered story nodes at any time and make different choices, which will cause subsequent nodes to undergo certain changes.
- When selecting an option where the resulting exploration branch cannot produce a new ending, a "Repeat Ending" marker will appear as a hint. You can choose to backtrack to earlier nodes to make different choices, or experience the previously known ending again.
Combat Node
[Combat Nodes]
- Combat nodes are divided into 3 types: [Final] stages, [Required] stages, and [Optional] stages;
- You must complete all [Required] stages before challenging the [Final] stage. Completing the [Final] stage counts as clearing the combat node.
- Agents cannot be redeployed within the same combat node. After completing any stage, the used and locked Agents will be displayed.
[Final Stages]
- This is a mandatory stage type in the simulation. You must complete the [Final] stage to clear the current combat node and proceed to the next event node.
- The challenge score for this type of stage is affected by the total score multiplier from all [Required] and [Optional] stages in the current combat node. Upon completion, you'll receive S, A, or B ratings and the corresponding rewards.
- Once a [Final] stage is completed, its corresponding combat node will immediately show the [Final] stage's score and rank.
- Resetting any [Required] stage within the combat node will make the corresponding [Final] stage unchallengeable.
[Required Stages]
- This is a mandatory stage type in the simulation. You must complete all [Required] stages to unlock the relevant [Final] stage.
- After completing a [Required] stage, you'll receive S, A, or B ratings based on your performance, which provide different score multiplier bonuses for the [Final] stage.
[Optional Stages]
- These are optional stages within the simulation you may choose to complete or skip. Clearing an [Optional] stage does not affect unlocking of [Final] stage.
- After completing an [Optional] stage, you'll receive an S, A, or B rating based on your performance, which provide different score multiplier bonuses for the [Final] stage.
Required Stage
- Defeat all enemy units as quickly as possible within the time limit.
- Upon completion, you'll receive a score multiplier for the [Final] stage based on your clear ratings.
Optional Stage
- Defeat all enemy units within the time limit while trying to prevent your Agents from being defeated.
- Upon completion, you'll receive a score multiplier for the [Final] stage based on your B, A, and S ratings.
Final Stage
- [Final] stages have a time limit. Score as high as you can in DMG and Performance Points within the time limit.
- Clearing [Required] stages and [Optional] stages within the same combat node will grant score multiplier bonuses based on your clear rating, improving your scoring efficiency in [Final] stages.
- The score multiplier is calculated as the sum of multipliers obtained from all [Required] and [Optional] stages.
Ending Collection
- Memories from different endings are recorded, and once an ending has been cleared, they can be viewed any time.
- You can perform a simulation rewind to reset all story nodes and the stages in LAST NODE (this will not reset other combat nodes), allowing you to re-select story nodes and experience different endings.
- After unlocking different endings, you'll also unlock the corresponding badges, which can then be showcased in the medal system to highlight the ending you like most.
